A little gem for Salvadorian food! We had tacos this time. Their Birria’s where amazing and really enjoyed their salsa Verde. Not too spicy either

The food is absolutely amazing! Some of the BEST tacos I've had in KW area. Highly recommend the beef tacos and Birria. Their fresh Tamarind juice and Mango Juice are also great. The staff are friendly and you can see that they care. The pollo pupusa was good but not a winner for me. As for store to shop, you can find a lot of essentials here and they have really good tortilla, as well as other sauces and snacks to purchase.
It's about time I log in to give this place a 5 star review; I have been ordering on occasion for several years now and they have always been fantastic. My typical order is the 3 x Pupusas Revuelta (Pork and Cheese), which is sold for a very reasonable 11.25. What you receive is three thick corn masa tortillas, each stuffed with a cheese and pork mixture. These are served alongside Curtido (a pungent El Salvador-style coleslaw) and spicy salsa. I typically order this "to-go", which is conveniently served in a paper bag with handle, the revueltas tightly sealed within aluminum foil to stay hot. You can also choose to eat in the store; there is a small seating area near the window where the hot food is served, slightly separated from the rest of the grocery store. It is a popular place to eat at lunchtime especially for some local workers. While the salsa is somewhat spicy, I personally top this with some "Valentina" salsa picante, which is also sold at this store! There are other fantastic Latin American ingredients and specialties sold here, including one of my favourites, Coca Cola from Mexico, made with cane sugar, in glass bottles. Service is always friendly. If you'd prefer to avoid any human contact, you can order in advance through their StoreFront, powered by DoorDash, without any extra fees! When you do, you'll be given a text message with ETA, and I guarantee the order will be done before the initial ETA. Your bag will be ready when you arrive at the service window, with your name on it. In all this is a fantastic, affordable, and satisfying lunch option if you're near Downtown Kitchener. Recommended.
Go to Uber Eats Tacos to home. Packaged very well, sauces tight in their containers. The tacos themselves are some of the best in KW. Our favourite are the beef tongue and birria. We tried the Papua, which are dough breads. Not fully our style but quite delicious. Churros of course for dessert are lovely.
"Awesome taste, good hygiene" I am kind of foodie person and likes to try food from different part of the world. This was my first time in "Mi Tienda Latina", and the taste was super amazing. Papusa(Cheesy, Pork) was best. I tried Chicken Tamales and Colombian Empanadas too and those were also very tasty. Each bite was a delightful journey, leaving me craving for more. This place was also very clean and have good aroma. For fellow food enthusiasts, Mi Tienda Latina is an absolute haven, promising a culinary adventure with every dish. I recommend it. 5 star for the service.
